After a good, long break we're all back in the office feeling refreshed and ready to take on 2009.

The office has undergone a slight shuffle around and everyone in the office has moved places. As usual you can have a nose at us through the webcams.

Well, here is where we draw a close to another year. 2008 has been a very successful and enjoyable year at Clevercherry.com, now it is time to sit back and relax a little.

We'd like to take the opportunity to wish our clients a Merry Christmas and the very best for 2009.

We will be shutting down from today, Friday 19th December, and will return to usual business on Monday 5th January 2009.

Internet Increases Sales

Nicklin Business Advisers recently posted an item outlining the advantages a business can feel from internet presence.

The item referred to a study carried out by the Federation of Small Businesses, which found that 43% of respondents saw sales rise by as much as a fifth after using the internet to promote their businesses.

Gav's Birthday

It was Gav's birthday yesterday, so we all clubbed in to get him a Dartboard for a gift. Gav was presented his gift late yesterday afternoon, wrapped so wonderfully in an Argos bag.

We also had some fun setting some fireworks off in the carpark too, any excuse for some silly times.

It Snowed!

It snowed in Birmingham yesterday, which initially got us all rather excited in the office.

The excitement came to a halt once the traffic problem became apparent. It was fun while it lasted though, especially seeing Ed getting snowed on!

An Extra Pair Of Hands In the Office

Ed's little boy, Zach, joined us for a while in the office yesterday. As you'd expect, we made full use of the extra pair of hands, with Zach's programming skills coming in very handy with some of our new projects.

Seriously though, he was an absolute pleasure to have around, with barely a squeak out of him. What a little legend.
